User Support Policy and Fees

Due to the high volume of phone, fax, e-mail and snail mail daily inquiries, we are unable to provide pro bono answers. Users must now pre-pay the standard consulting fees arising from information posted on the Website, free e-letter or from any other source. Please understand, maintaining a Website and free e-letter costs money.

When you have inquiries regarding procedures, forms or documents from a source other than ours, please contact the other information providers for answers to your inquiries, prior to contacting us.

We recommend you become acquainted with the free "Paycheck-Piracy" e-letter. To subscribe, send a blank message to paycheck-piracy-on@mail-list.com The subscription is free. Your e-mail remains private since we never sell, give, lease or rent your information. The free e-letter is a one-way post and we do not reply to messages.

You are also asked to visit the Website at PreferredServices.org to locate answers to your questions and learn from the free information posted on the various topics contained in the Web pages.

Initial Consultation

For an initial consultation, we require each client to fill out a short questionnaire. We can then review the facts prior to the conference, saving Q&A time during the consultation, thus allowing time with the client to explore in more detail the facts and client's options. The fee for the initial one-half hour consultation is $150.

Payment Preference

We prefer you remit cash, blank money order or blank traveler's check. We prefer you NOT send standard bank checks. Financial Institutions are not your friends. They violate your due process and freely disclose your account information to federal and state agencies without your specific, written consent. The financial institutions allow government agencies to seize amounts from your account without an order from a court of competent jurisdiction.

Or, to expedite the payment process via e-commerce transactions, simply click on a PayPal “Buy Now” logo.

Fees

We do not work on a contingency basis. Fees are either hourly or fixed according to services to be provided. The specific fee will vary depending upon the particular matter to be handled for each client, taking into consideration factors such as: time, novelty, difficulty, skill required, responsibility, and preclusion of other matters. Current hourly rate is $275. Hourly rates are subject to change without notice. Clients are generally charged by fixed fee plus costs for ancillary charges: research, postage, copies, fax, Notary Public, courier deliveries, phone calls, court fees, etc.

The Retainer

We request a “retainer” from clients, which is to be applied as a credit against fees and costs. All monies received are “earned when paid” minimum fees and immediately become property of the company. Retainer is a credit toward hourly rate. There are no refunds or abatements. The company charges a flat fee just to begin work on client matters, and requires a retainer which becomes a credit to the client’s account at the hourly rates. Client must read and understand the contract before signing. A written contract is mandatory. Understand your obligations.
